We will be hosting another of our Jazz, Dinner and Wine nights. With The Sara Littlefield Quartet Sara on Sax, John Hattersley on Wine and us on Food, we hope it will be a sell out like our Midsummer Jazz night last time.
 
Tickets £35 to include two course dinner, glass of fizz on arrival and glass of wine with each course introduced by John Hattersley.

BBC Breakfast Broadcasting LIVE today 6-9am!

Today was an early start to meet the crew who are filming for BBC Breakfast, the broadcast is all about the electric bicycle network which is a new initiative in the Peak Park. 

The network features charge & hire points like our Monsal Trail Cycle hire centre, accommodation providers, pubs & cafes. It will enable people to explore miles of cycling in the Peak District & Derbyshire with the added boost of electrical assistance! The bikes are a must try, you'll be surprised how great they feel.

With the newly opened 8.5m Monsal Trail to explore, there's never been a better time to get out there & cycle!

The Monsal Trail Officially Opens

The Duke of Devonshire Officially opened the Monsal Trail Tunnels

On the 25th May the Duke of Devonshire opened the Monsal Trail Tunnels along with former rail workers.
 
The Peak District National Park Authority invited guests to attend the ceremony on the Monsal Trail Viaduct, including the construction & egineering team,cycling groups, rail historians, equestrian groups & two local schools.
 
We were delighted to the greet the Duke of Devonshire when he arrived at Hassop Station, and to then enjoy the Lunch Party which the Peak Park hosted here at Hassop Station Cafe.
 
The Trail is open to all, and is a truly fantastic experience.

The Monsal Trail Cycle Hire & Workshop is open 7 days a week, 9-5pm   

We offer a great range of brand new hire bikes for adults and children.

Including:
Baby Buggies, tagalongs,baby seats, Trikes, comfort bikes and mountain bikes.

Our fully qualified bike mechanic can offer you tips and hints on cycling,advise on routes, and our workshop is open for servicing and repair.

Our award winning cafe is also open 7 days a week,so if you are out  cycling or walking on the Monsal Trail be sure to sample our delicious specials & afternoon teas,aswell as our traditional ice cream kiosk.

Ample parking, wheelchair/buggy access, disabled loo & baby changing too.
